A Kansas native, Dioane is highly invested in his community. He completed his postsecondary education with a bachelor's in business from Wichita State University, serves on several boards, and was an inaugural member of the Sedgwick County Diversity Inclusion Civil Rights Board.

Dioane possesses a diverse skillset that helps him connect with various audiences as a facilitator and trainer, derived from working seventeen years in law enforcement, twenty-four years in ministry leadership, and more than fourteen years as a small business owner.

After retiring from the Sherriff's Office and full-time ministry, Dioane founded his company, Cornerman Consulting, in 2021. Cornerman aims to upskill people to make progress on the things that matter most. They partner with organizations and teams to develop leaders, address adaptive challenges, and provide performance-enhancing training.

Dioane is also a teacher for the Kansas Leadership Center. He is known for his thirst for learning and ability to ask compelling questions. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their three adult children, traveling, eating good food, and watching Dallas Cowboys football.

We conduct experiments to either debunk or affirm the dominant narrative in your company. Learn the backstory so you can take the initiative instead of reacting.
